This journey has a specific goal, to Master the Mind. Through regular meditation, the mind becomes clear and the motives pure. The subconscious mind releases hidden knowledge that allows a better understanding of oneself and our relationship to the world. The limited personality slowly dissolves into an expanded consciousness. Ultimately, the super conscious or intuitive forces are released.
Leading to a life of wisdom and peace. We will explore different mediation techniques

  • Feel the silence
  • Hear the silence
  • Taste the silence
  • Silence is the music of your soul

Pranayama the Sanskrit name for breath control. We will explore different breathing technique and how to use out breath to silence doubts
and other distractions. Asanas the Sanskrit name for steady poses and are used in the yoga world. There are 12 foundational yoga poses that we will work towards. The teachings of Sivanada yoga is classical Hatha yoga, where every pose is followed by a short relaxation.

Flowing Movement
Here we are exploring our feminine flow, music will enhance the experience and I will lead you in body movements.

We have both masculine and feminine essences in us so this will be for both men and women.

Vegetarian diet will be explored and suggestion how to cook and recipes will be shared.

A very important part in all of Yoga and Exercises. Our body works constantly; here you will learn how to relax consciously.
Women’s healing Circles. We sit in council and subject/theme will be shared in a ceremonial way. Get a group together and I facilitate the Circle Come to an already formed group and be a part of that Circle.

Rite of Passages Celebrations
I create a ceremonial celebration for Birth, Menarche, Job changes, Menopause and Death. We have many hidden fears and feelings of loneliness when life situation and/or body changes happen. This is a tool for us to let go and let in something that we have not
experienced before. To find compassion towards ourselves and celebrate the new, celebrate that change really is a gift and an opportunity to find new views and ways. When we are with others we see and hear that we are not alone and we can find comfort and get out of our own ways and find solutions through a ceremonial way of opening up

Trance Dance
Trance Dance is a unique blend of body movement, healing sounds, dynamic percussive rhythms, transformational breathing techniques and the innovative use of a blindfold or bandana – together stimulating a ‘trance’ state that promotes spiritual awakenings, mental clarity, physical stamina and emotional well-being.

Trance Dance is a powerful experience for small & large groups of people.

Shama has facilitated Trance Dances at yoga studios, leadership gatherings, and multiple festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Burning man, & Envision music festival in Costa Rica.

Trance Dance is not a structured yoga, and it is not a form of ecstatic dance, it is a private journey inward to reveal deep truths and healing that is yearning to come out.

Trance Dance's primary focus is on healing and spiritual evolution. By dancing within the seclusion of darkness participants discover parallel realities where solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems are possible. Through Trance Dance we disappear, becoming more like spirit, and simultaneously less attached to life's ordinary difficulties, making it possible at these moments to let these problems go.

Trance Dance is a Shamanic Journey that has to be experienced to fully understand the benefits.
